Men's Echo Boot

Yes. The Echo pairs a padded footbed with a breathable lining, so it stays comfortable from morning through evening rather than only through the first hour. The lace-up closure runs to the ankle, which keeps the fit secure across a long day instead of loosening and creating hot spots. For men who are on their feet through a full shift, the Echo is built to keep up.

The Echo uses a Durabrush upper. It takes scuffs, dust and weather without needing conditioning, which suits a boot you want to wear rather than protect. We chose it deliberately, because a boot that needs looking after every fortnight tends to stay in the closet. If you want a different material, several other styles in our range carry a leather or nubuck upper instead.

The lug outsole uses a deep, blocky tread built to bite into wet pavement, gravel and mud rather than glide across it. Deeper tread channels give water somewhere to go, which is what keeps rubber in contact with the ground. For greasy indoor floors, though, you want a purpose-built slip-resistant outsole rather than a lug sole, because those are two different problems.

Not currently. The Echo runs in men's US sizes 6.5 through 13 in standard width only. If you usually need a wide fit, our Fringe moc toe boot and Convoy 6-inch boot are both offered in standard and wide widths across most of the size run.

Brush off loose dirt first, then wipe the upper with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution and let it air dry away from direct heat.
