When Eagles Fly | The Re-Signing of Michael Vick

While everyone arrives to a week’s new work load…Michael Vick is having his best week ever!

Today, Monday Feb 11th, Michael Vick re-inked a one year deal for the 2013 Eagles Season and is scheduled to be a free agent after next season which could possibly earn him as much as 10 million. 33 year old Vick, had 12 touchdowns,10 interceptions in 10 games and passed for 2,362 yards last season. For a player that was as inconsistent as he was last year and plagued with injuries…”It’s his toughness that cannot be overrated at all. His skill set and the fact that he can still throw the  football” was the reply of his Coach Kelly on why he feels Vick still got it. Although his QBR dropped from 68 in 2010 to 46.0 last season…”Vick’s got an unbelievable release and can get the ball out quickly”.  A “grateful and proud” Eagle…Vick says that his “heart is in Philly and his goal is to win”. With the Vision and leadership of Coach Kelly…and a little elbow grease…we’re sure Michael Vick will prove he’s still a great catch!(no pun intended)
