While most of us have grown up watching the Jetsons, not many of us expected to live in an era of self-parking cars that run on electricity or solar power. One Dutch design firm took it even further with their  latest idea…developing a highway of the future that features solar powered paint, bad weather warnings and lanes able to charge an electric car. If this smart Highway doesn’t make Apple shiver…I don’t  know what will with futuristic smart road technology like glow-in the dark paint that is temperature sensitive …appearing like magic to create bad weather signals to alert drivers of treacherous conditions or interactive lights that come on when a driver approaches and dims when the driver passes. With the aim being to make roads safer and more energy efficient we can’t help but wonder what’s next in the Green future! Watch below:
